Christopher Newport University will be the site of the conference and all related events.  

University Housing

A limited number of suites have been reserved for the nights of June 13-16 in Christopher Newport University's James River Residence Hall.    

Air-conditioned suites have two, three, or four single bedrooms with a shared living area and bathroom.   Some suites also include a kitchen. Each suite has a local phone line, and internet access is available at the computer lab on the first floor of the residence hall, as well as on the second floor of the David Student Union. A linen package is supplied for each guest that includes two sheets, a blanket, pillow, bath towel, washcloth and cup. Bathrooms have soap and toilet paper. Elevator service is available in the hall.

      1 night   -    $26.00             3 nights   -   $72.00

      2 nights   -   $49.00            4 nights   -   $95.00

Please note, campus residence halls have a no alcohol or smoking policy. Conference attendees staying in the hall will have access to the Freeman Center athletic facility.

Please be prepared to leave a $25.00 check as a deposit for your electronic key.   The check will be returned to you when you return the key at checkout.

The Omni Newport News Hotel is a four-star hotel in Newport News, just minutes from historic Williamsburg.   The Omni hotel features an indoor pool, a restaurant, and offers free, wireless internet in the lobby and high speed connections in the rooms. The hotel is just 10 minutes from the Newport News/ Williamsburg Airport and about three miles from campus. Please make your reservations before May 12, 2007.   After this date, the unreserved rooms will be released and the going rate for the hotel will prevail. Conference Rate:   $99.00 per night (single or double), $10.00 per each additional adult per room per night, plus applicable taxes.
